Animal Diagnostic & Wellness Center offers a wide range of veterinary services. Our first priority is to help you keep your pet healthy. Preventive care includes physical examinations, laboratory testing, appropriate vaccines, and preventive medications.

If your pet should become ill or develop a problem, an accurate diagnosis is essential before any treatment ensues. Animal Diagnostic & Wellness Center offers a wide range of diagnostics, from blood tests to ultrasonography.

Once a diagnosis is reached, appropriate treatment can ensue with the most current therapeutics and protocols. Dr. Ernest's specialty is canine and feline practice with a special interest in ferrets, small mammals and birds. Not only should our pets live longer, but they should live pain free and able to be part of the family.

Occasionally, surgery may be necessary to get your pet on the road to recovery, Animal Diagnostic & Wellness Center can perform many soft tissue and abdominal surgeries and some minor orthopedic surgeries. If your pet requires surgery that requires specialized equipment, we will refer you to a board-certified veterinary surgeon in the area.

Sick pets need extra care, a peaceful environment, and individual attention to address their emotional and physical needs while hospitalized. Our staff focuses entirely on sick and injured patients. To keep us from being distracted from your pet's medical needs, we do not offer boarding, grooming, or pet supplies.

Second Opinions

Dr. Brenda Ernest is a specialist in canine and feline practice and is happy to review your pet's medical history if you have any doubts as to the care your pet is receiving at another facility. In order to give you an accurate assessment, please provide all medical records, laboratory data, and x-rays pertaining to your pet's current problem.

As always, we encourage you to talk with us if you have any reservations concerning your pet's care at our facility. If you would be more comfortable seeking a second opinion, we will be happy to refer you to a specialist in the area and supply all the pertinent medical records.
